The State Tournament for Ohio takes place each July on a rotating bases across Little League Districts across the state. While COVID threw us all for a loop in 2020 and 2021, we moved forward in 2022 crowning Champions in each division. Below are the dates and locations for the 2023 Ohio Little League State Tournament. Note that ALL softball divisions were held in Ashtabula in 2022 bringing many of the top softball players in the state of Ohio to District 1.

- 9-11 Baseball – July 23-30 – District 9, Loveland – bracket – New Albany scores 5-2 win over Hamilton in title game
- 50-70 Baseball – July 5-10 – District 2, Boardman – bracket – Jefferson takes 4th Place in State Tournament
- 10-12 Baseball – July 16-23 – District 7, Elyria – bracket
- Junior Baseball – July 16-23 – District 11, Rock Hill – Ironton tops Cuyahoga Falls in Championship, Jefferson takes 3rd place
- Senior Baseball – July 9-13 – District 1, Ashtabula – bracket – Ashtabula/Jefferson tops Rock Hill LL 11-7 to win State Title, Geneva/PAYO takes 4th

- 8-10 Softball – District 1, Ashtabula – bracket – Austintown wins State Championship defeating Poland
- 9-11 Softball – District 1, Ashtabula – bracket – Gallia County LL wins state title over Ashtabula, PAYO takes 4th
- 10-12 Softball – District 1, Ashtabula – bracket – Boardman wins State Title over Clay LL
- Junior Softball – District 1, Ashtabula – bracket– Canfield tops Rock Hill in Junior Softball State Championship
2021 State Tournament
District 1 hosted Ohio’s State softball tournaments from July 24-31 in Ashtabula for the following age brackets:
- 10-12 Major Softball – July 10-13 – bracket
- Junior Softball – July 10-13 – bracket
- Senior Baseball – bracket – Ironton tops Jefferson/Ashtabula 20-9 for State Title
- 8-10 Softball – bracket – Tallmadge tops Poland 11-1 to Win Ohio’s 8-10 Softball State Championship
- 9-11 Softball – bracket – Fairland’s comeback seals State Tournament Championship over rival Gallia County
